¡Ü Introduction to ÜÅðÎÛöåÞ

ÜÅðÎÛöåÞ is a Chinese term for the official language used in Buddhist scriptures and teachings. It is a language developed by combining Sanskrit and local languages in areas where Buddhism was spread, such as India, Central Asia, China, and Southeast Asia, and is also called Buddhist mixed Sanskrit.

The auxiliary law means "universal light" or "all-powerful science," which reflects Buddhism's belief in the nature of knowing everything about enlightenment.

The use of auxiliary legal language dates back to the early Buddhist scriptures written in Sanskrit, and was translated into other local languages as Buddhism spread. In China, the translation of Buddhist texts from Sanskrit to Chinese began in the first century AD and continued for centuries, resulting in a vast corpus of Buddhist texts in Chinese.

Today, many translations and interpretations in various languages are available, but they are still used in Buddhist scriptures and teachings. It remains an important language for Buddhist scholars and practitioners because it preserves the original meaning and nuance of Buddhist literature.

¡Ü Introduction to Kim Jinul

Jinul was a Chinese historian, named Ji Ji Ji, born between 1639 and 1704, and was active during the Qing Dynasty in the late 18th century. He contributed greatly to the development and change of Chinese history by writing papers and books on Chinese history and culture.

What drew attention was his representative work, "The Lecture on the Solidarity of the East." The book deals with an overall overview of Chinese history and was an innovative attempt at that time. The book divides Chinese history into "institutional" and "people" histories, which are different from previous approaches that focus only on political changes, such as dynastic changes and the development of royal authority, which were mainly dealt with in Chinese history at that time. Jinul also tried to understand Chinese history by considering China's geography, culture, and religion comprehensively.

Jinul was also very interested in studying Chinese characters. He had previously been poorly dealt with in terms of the characteristics of historical figures and the relationship between them, which he saw as an important aspect and helped expand the discussion of character research. His representative character research book is Wang Eon-rok.

Jinul emphasized the importance of the growing intellectual class in China at that time, and advocated the cultivation of talent through education and the preservation and development of Chinese history and culture. His achievements had a great influence not only on the development of Chinese history, but also on China's national construction and cultural development.
